As a Credit Controller here at Greenmill, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the company’s success and future growth plans.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the first crucial focus of the role is to collect any unpaid money that is owed to the business by way of telephone & email. Other focus areas consist of evaluating new credit requests & approving or denying orders based on set credit limits and terms.
You will also be responsible for handling queries such as contacting customers for remittances, obtaining proof of deliveries, and sending copy invoices/credit notes. In addition, you will also establish & maintain regular communications with customers, agree payment plans & negotiate ways to facilitate sales, notify them of upcoming or outstanding invoices & facilitate regular payments as well as taking card payments over the phone.
This fast-paced role is certain to keep those who love a busy day satisfied as you cover a wide variety of tasks as well as interacting with all areas of the company.
- A minimum of 1 year in Credit Control position.
- OR working towards CICM.
- Experience of CRM / ERP systems.
- A good communicator & relationship builder with colleagues and customers.
- Embrace being part of a positive, proactive team with a willingness to help and support your colleagues.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Possess a high level of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Efficient in planning and prioritizing varying tasks and workload.
- Demonstrate initiative & have a positive continuous development mindset.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Good numeracy skills
- The ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Combination of good judgment and strong intuition.
- Diligent and responsible work ethic.
